12/6/11 - Gain (signal strength), the higher the reading the better the LNBF, right?

Wrong, gain is good up to a point but after that it induces too much noise and instability in your LNBF rendering it useless.

The most important aspect of any digital LNBF is stability. Without stability, gain has no meaning. PLL (Phase Lock Loop) LNBFs are the best known high stability LNBFs today. Companies like Norsat, CalAmp and others make a extremely good profit on PLL LNBs. Most commercial operators use them because they know stability is the real measure of a reliable LNBF in this digital age.

But why do PLL LNBFs cost so much? Hmmm, good question. They are approximately the same size, maybe only slightly larger and maybe a little heavier. Yet they can demand a price tag of $300 or more! Are they really worth the price?

DMS International introduces another LNBF break through product. Our new Avenger PLL321 S-2 LNBFs are about the same price as the common LNBFs available today. Now you can get extremely good stability (300 KHz or better) for your satellite system at about the same price that you would pay for a LNBF with 1 ,500 KHz (1 .5 MHz) stability or much worse. Good low cost LNBFs normally have 1 ,500 KHz stability, others are 3,000 KHz stability and worse making it difficult to maintain your digital picture. Our new Avenger PLL LNBFs are 300 KHz or better for about the same price.

Our digital satellite world is quickly turning to DVB-S2, MPEG4 and High Definition that requires higher stability!  300 KHz or 1 ,500 KHz, which one would you like on your dish? Now you can have the high stability of PLL at a very affordable price.

Our Avenger PLL LNBF is at least 5 times more stable than the better low cost LNBFs available on the market today. Don't settle for anything less when you can have the best.
